For Courts, Probation & Referral Professionals

Temperantia-KYH welcomes referrals from juvenile and family courts, probation departments, attorneys, schools, and other authorized professionals.

The program provides a structured educational intervention focused on accountability, participation, and measurable progress. Authorized referral sources may request enrollment information, attendance verification, participation updates, and completion documentation in accordance with program policies and applicable privacy requirements.

How Referrals Work

1

A referral or inquiry is received from a parent, guardian, court, probation officer, school, attorney, or other authorized referral source.

2

An intake assessment is completed to review the referral circumstances, participant needs, and overall program suitability.

3

The participant enrolls in the structured 12-week program and completes the assigned psychoeducational sessions and activities.

4

Participation and completion documentation is provided to authorized referral sources when appropriate.

Program Philosophy

“The Heart of Every Problem Is the Problem in the Heart.”

Temperantia-KYH combines dignity with accountability. Young people are not defined by past behavior—they are taught practical skills to recognize unhealthy patterns, make safer choices, communicate more effectively, and respond to conflict in healthier ways.

Parent & Guardian Information

Professional Boundaries

Temperantia-KYH’s Juvenile Anger Management Program is educational and skills-based.

It is not psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, diagnostic evaluation, or a substitute for services provided by a licensed mental health professional. When a participant’s needs extend beyond the scope of this program, additional or alternative services may be recommended.
